Each richly grained bowl is handmade from natural Acacia wood. This bowl set makes beautiful a showcase of any salad.
AESTHETICALLY PLEASING; We do not sell laminated wood bowls for aesthetic reasons, as well as possible de-lamination. Our solid wood bowls display a seamless rich, grainy texture, a look that cannot be replicated with laminated bowls. That isn't to say that all laminated bowls are unattractive, we think most folks would prefer to see a solid wood bowl vs. a laminated bowl. It just says "handmade quality" a bit more.
DURABLE; Each bowl is meticulously hand-carved from one solid piece of wood. No lamination, there are no laminated or glued joints to crack and separate.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE, hand-washing recommended. Do not place bowls in the dishwasher or microwave; We recommend occasionally oiling using a commercially available food-grade cutting board oil such as food-grade mineral oil.
